The Voltbike Elegant is targeted to lower-end consumers. Everything about it screams cost-down. You won’t be using this bike to go off-road, but if you’re on pavement and you aren’t facing too many hills, it might be an option. Ergonomics are okay and the bike is reasonably attractive overall.
We’ call the bike underpowered. You can shift when you’re not moving, which is a plus, but the step-through design is not rigid enough when you’re riding. There are no frame options or size options, no other accessories to speak of, and the two-stage battery activation is annoying. This one illustrates that you do get what you pay for, and sometimes less.
