Faraday is a reputable brand. The motor on the Cortland isn’t terribly powerful, and the bike is also quite expensive. Attention to detail is not bad. The belt drive is quiet and nicely designed, and a lot of accessories are available for the bike. The low-step design also makes it more accessible to a wider variety of riders.
It’s hard to get around the high price of this bike, though, especially given how underpowered the whole affair is. There’s no throttle, either, so you’re stuck pedaling no matter what. On the whole it’s hard to complain too loudly about the Cortland, but it’s hard to rave about it, either.
