The Newport is a cruiser designed for a variety of laid back travel. It has big tires and swept handlebars, with a comfortable saddle. Ergonomics are decent too, and the Newport features an adjustable throttle. The price is not too bad, and the motor has pretty good torque.

Unfortunately, there’s a lack of style here. The Newport just isn’t exciting. Ride could be better, too, because the weight of the bike is put off by the position of the battery. Overall weight of the Newport is pretty high compared to other bikes of this style, which mean it won’t be as easy to haul around and store. Finally we disliked the two-stage on-switch, as we’d often forget to switch on the battery separately before switching on the main panel.
